Although like most folk in the music industry we are pretty non conformist type characters, at Too Far North we do work to a few basic ground rules which we feel make our events run smoother, here goes…

Bands may not play a gig in the same city seven days either side of their Too Far North event. Tick door policy in operation for pay in gigs as follows. 50% of entry price goes to your band, however, no payment will be given if you attract less than ten people. Performers will be paid by Too Far North cheque on the night.

Guest list to be arranged in advance of gig and applicable to bona fide music industry and music press only and not moaning wives and girlfriends (WAGS), however pretty they are. Sound checks start at 6pm prompt, unless otherwise stated. Failure to turn up on time may result in line check and promoters and soundman being nasty to you.

Although we receive music from many acts on a daily basis we pride ourselves on listening to everything we are sent ASAP. As such we reply to all bands within 48 hours.
